Refund Policy

We want you to be confident before you commit. This policy explains when and how we refund Clipap purchases. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”) as our merchant of record, so refunds flow back via Paddle to your original payment method.

1. 7-day money-back guarantee

New paid subscriptions to Clipap come with a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Service, email us at contact@clipap.com within seven (7) calendar days of your first paid charge and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.

The 7-day window starts on the date Paddle takes your initial payment. The guarantee applies once per customer and is intended for genuine evaluation — accounts that abuse it (e.g. repeated sign-ups under different emails) are not eligible.

2. Subscription renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you selected (monthly or annually) until you cancel. Renewal charges are not covered by the 7-day money-back guarantee.

You can cancel a renewal at any time from your account settings or by emailing contact@clipap.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.

If a renewal charge is taken in error — for example because you tried to cancel before the renewal but the request did not register — contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full.

3. Token packs

Token packs that power AI features are one-off purchases of a consumable digital good. Once tokens are spent against the Anthropic or OpenAI APIs we cannot recover them, so we only refund tokens that have not been used.

If you bought a token pack within the last 14 days and have used fewer than 10% of the tokens in it, email us and we will refund the unused portion proportionally. Outside that window, or if more than 10% of the pack has been consumed, refunds are at our discretion and we will respond to your request in writing.

4. EU and UK statutory rights

If you are a consumer resident in the EU or the UK you would normally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal under Directive 2011/83/EU or the equivalent UK legislation. By starting to use Clipap (creating a project, uploading assets, or running an AI generation) immediately after purchase you expressly request that we begin performing the Service before the withdrawal period ends, and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed.

The 7-day money-back guarantee in §1 above is a separate, additional commitment we offer voluntarily and is more generous than the statutory minimum for partially-performed digital services.

5. How to request a refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email contact@clipap.com from the address on your Clipap account.
  2. Include the Paddle transaction ID (it appears on the receipt Paddle emails you at the time of purchase) and a one-line reason for the refund.
  3. We will acknowledge within two business days and, where approved, instruct Paddle to refund the original payment method. Paddle typically processes refunds within 5–10 business days; the time the funds take to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — almost every dispute is faster to resolve directly with us. Accounts associated with chargebacks made without a prior support attempt may be suspended pending review.
